Las Cruces Engagement Session

Last weekend was pretty busy for me. I went down to Las Cruces for a few photo sessions and a wedding. Here are some of my favorite photos from Summer and Michael's engagement session on Friday. These two were so cute--up for anything! We ended up walking around Mesilla for most of their session. We also took a little drive to a couple new spots I scouted out. I'm really excited about their photos!

Anna and Dustin

My first wedding of 2008 went great! Anna and Dustin were married in Las Cruces, NM, at the New Mexico Farm & Ranch Heritage Museum. It was such a perfect day for an outdoor wedding! Here are a few images from their wedding day.

I hope everyone had a great holiday. December was a fantastic month for me. I have so much to share! The first good news is I won 7th place in the Q3 Artistic Guild contest from the Wedding Photojournalist Association. Here is my winning image with notes from the judge:



Before Christmas I was honored to photograph Sarah and Pete's wedding in Tucson. They had a beautiful morning wedding with a wonderful brunch reception.

New Site Up and Running!

The new template is up! There are still a few more things I will be changing in the next couple of days. You can reach it at the same address http://www.erinmichellephoto.com

I have had a few emails asking about the new price list. The only price difference is on the mini shoot. It has been raised to $75. and there is a ONE person limit. We have been debating about the date to raise wedding prices. We'll keep you updated. We will either be changing them January 1st or March 1st. Either way there will be at least $400. increase.

Let me know what you think of the site. There are some great new features I'm really excited about. For one, the proofing section has changed dramatically. You no longer will be directed to another site. The new proofing section will NOT affect clients whose sessions happened before Dec. 4th.

Hacienda del Sol

I think I found my new favorite place to shoot in Tucson. Brides--check this place out for your wedding. It has the old pueblo look with TONS of great color. Erin recommended it for her shoot. She wanted some pictures of her and the hubby for the holidays.

Once again I'm behind on blogging! I have a good reason for it this time. I've been working hard on the new website! Yes, you heard correctly--I'm making a NEW site (again.) I'll keep you updated on this change and the new price list for 2008 as well.

My Family

I hope everyone had a relaxing Thanksgiving weekend. I know I sure did! I was even able to take my family out for some portraits. It was a challenge getting in the pictures too, but I managed with the help of Kueyson and of course my trusty tripod!

'Tis the season for family photos! Ashlee and Joceyln were down for the holidays and wanted a family photo with their mom. We had a good time together at Sabino Canyon. Can you believe that was my first time there? I really need go out and explore my backyard more often!




Jocelyn is taking belly dancing lessons and we made her show off some of her moves.
